Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use before using OpenWeird. By accessing or using OpenWeird, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
What OpenWeird does
OpenWeird is a portal and directory for discovering weird websites, strange internet pages, browser experiments, odd web toys, and other third-party websites.
You can click the portal to open a random website, browse the directory, or submit a website for review.
Third-party websites and random links
OpenWeird links to websites that are owned and operated by other people.
When you click the portal, use the randomizer, visit a website from the directory, or click an external link, you may leave OpenWeird and visit a third-party website.
OpenWeird does not own, control, operate, or endorse those third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security, privacy practices, availability, or anything that happens after you leave OpenWeird.
Third-party websites may change at any time. A website that was safe, funny, strange, or harmless when added to OpenWeird may later change, break, redirect, or display different content.
Use your own judgment when visiting external websites.
No guarantee of safety, accuracy, or availability
OpenWeird is provided for discovery and entertainment.
We try to review and organize websites in a reasonable way, but we cannot guarantee that every link will always be safe, accurate, available, appropriate, or working.
OpenWeird may contain broken links, outdated descriptions, incorrect tags, or links to websites that have changed since they were added.
Website submissions
You may submit websites for review through the OpenWeird submission form.
By submitting a website, you understand that OpenWeird may review, reject, edit, describe, tag, include, remove, or ignore the submission at any time.
Submitting a website does not guarantee that it will be added to OpenWeird.
You should not submit websites that are illegal, malicious, deceptive, harmful, spammy, infringing, or designed to abuse, track, mislead, or harm visitors.
Removal and correction requests
If you own or represent a website listed on OpenWeird and want to request a correction or removal, you can contact us by email.
We may review the request and decide whether to update or remove the listing.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use OpenWeird to:
- break the law
- submit harmful, malicious, deceptive, or illegal websites
- interfere with the website or its normal operation
- attempt to attack, scrape, overload, or abuse the service
- misuse the submission form
- violate the rights of another person or website
