About OpenWeird

OpenWeird is built around the experience of random discovery, not choosing from a complete list. Only part of the collection is available to browse. That is where the portal comes in: click, give up a little control, and see where the randomizer takes you.

Weird websites are pages that feel unusual, playful, creepy, useless, experimental, nostalgic, or simply hard to explain. They can be browser toys, small indie games, digital art, old-web projects, horror-themed experiences, or things that do not fit neatly into any category. Some can get strange or unsettling, but OpenWeird does not intentionally include adult or explicit content.

Press Enter Portal and OpenWeird picks a site at random from its database, then opens it in a new tab. It tries not to repeat the same places too soon, but you may eventually see one again. You never know where the next click will take you.

OpenWeird exists to keep the weird web alive and bring some surprise back to exploring the internet. There are still strange, creative, and easy-to-miss websites out there. Sometimes the best way to find them is to stop choosing and see where the web takes you.

Websites are added if they feel strange, funny, oddly satisfying, nostalgic, experimental, useless in a good way, or simply too difficult to describe. Submissions are reviewed manually before they are added.
